welcome to the docs

Hi, I’m Stumpy. Looking for something?

Search the docs, or start with the basics.

Stay in the loop of what your agents are shipping.

The Timeline groups pull requests into features, so you can follow what is being built without reading every pull request.

baum groups the pull requests in your repositories into features, from work in progress to shipped. For each feature the Timeline shows:

  • its status, the people working on it and how much has changed;
  • when work on it started and when it last moved;
  • the key decisions made along the way; and
  • its pull requests and the agent sessions behind them.

A small change that isn’t part of a bigger feature stays on its own.

When a session ends, baum pulls out the decisions made in it: what was chosen, and why. All decisions lists them across your repositories, with search and filters, so you can find a past choice without digging through transcripts. A decision links back to the prompt in the session where it was made, for as long as the transcript is on your computer.

Features and decisions are built on your computer by the agent and model set for data extraction, usually a smaller model than for reviews. See Why setup asks you to choose models.

The Timeline starts with the pull requests opened after you added a repository. To fill in the history, choose Build feature history from the menu at the end of the Timeline’s top bar, for one repository or several at once: baum places their pull requests from the last 180 days too. Features are tidied up about once a week: duplicates are merged and features that grew too large are split.

To turn features and decisions off, switch off Extract decisions and features in Settings → Reviews.
