Plan usage left
Section titled “Plan usage left”baum shows how much of your Claude Code and Codex plans is left, with each limit’s window and when it resets (for example, “Claude Code · 5-hour: 62% left · resets in 3 h”). You see it:
- in the app’s sidebar;
- in the tray menu, without opening the app; and
- during setup, so you can pick the agent with the most to spare for reviews.
By default baum shows the plans of the agents it uses. You can also follow a plan baum doesn’t use: if baum reviews with Claude Code but you code with Codex too, turn on Show Codex plan usage in Settings → General → Plan usage, and its limits appear alongside. Each plan has its own switch, so you can hide any of them as well.
Analytics
Section titled “Analytics”The Analytics page shows what your coding agents did on this computer over the last 7, 30 or 90 days, for one repository or agent, or all of them:
- sessions, prompts and active time;
- what the usage would have cost at API prices;
- how much of your committed work an agent helped write; and
- pull requests opened and merged, and how long they took to merge.
Costs are estimates at API prices, not what your subscription charges. A figure baum can’t measure is shown as unknown, never as zero.
What reviews cost
Section titled “What reviews cost”Reviews are cheap. Each one is a single run of your agent, capped at 10 minutes, and decisions are extracted with a small model in about one call per session. baum won’t burn through your usage limits: the plan you use for your own coding stays yours.
You can see exactly what baum used. The Jobs page shows each review’s usage, and Analytics counts baum’s own reviews separately from your sessions.
Use even less
Section titled “Use even less”To use less of your plan:
- narrow which pull requests are reviewed automatically in Settings → Reviews;
- choose a smaller model or lower effort for reviews; or
- choose Pause automatic reviews in the tray menu while you need your plan for other work.
See Settings for every setting.
